The Graduate Hotel – Roosevelt Island is the fifth building to be completed on the Cornell Tech Campus. The exterior, designed by Snohetta, contains many unique technical challenges including 22-foot tall articulated metal and glass curtainwall panels; “Y”-shaped exposed architectural concrete columns; and an undulating stucco soffit. Designed in conjunction with AJ Capital Partners and Stonehill Taylor, the interior includes 225 guestrooms, a lobby bar and restaurant with a full kitchen and a rooftop bar and deck overlooking the Manhattan Skyline.

James McCormick led the construction team as Project Executive at Hunter Roberts Construction Group from pre-construction through top-out before joining D&A Companies.
